Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antimicrobial agent composition, having high antimicrobial activities and hardly causing irritation by including a specific ammonium salt compound and an acetic acid derivative therein. SOLUTION: This antimicrobial agent composition is obtained by including (a) an alkyldimethylbenzylammonium salt represented by formula I (R is a 12-14C alkyl; X is an anion) and (b) a glycine-N,N'-diacetic acid derivative represented by formula II (R is a 1-18C alkyl or an alkenyl; M is H or a cation). The blending ratio (b)/(a) of the ingredients (a) and (b) is preferably 1-2. The amount of the blended ingredient (a) is preferably 2-20wt.% and that of the blended ingredient (b) is preferably 1-15wt.%.
