Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unpacking device for cartons having a simple construction by providing a simple cutting means. SOLUTION: The unpacking device for cartons, in which a carton 1 is cut off to deliver powder and granular materials therein, includes a supporting base 2 for supporting the bottom side of a carton, a band saw 5 whose cutting surface 5a is horizontally provided on the upper part of the base 2, and a robot 6, which grips the carton 1 to move it, and the carton 1 is moved in a direction intersecting the surface 5a of the saw 5 to cut three sides of the carton, following which the carton 1 is moved reversely to a position, where the bottom side of the carton slips off the base 2, to allow the bottom side of the carton to open to one side thereof.
