ISDN COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT WITH CALLBACK CALL FUNCTION AND CALLBACK CALLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ISDN communication equipment that allows another terminal adaptor to execute a substitute callback, in the case of communication not being able by a terminal adaptor at the arrival of an incoming call. SOLUTION: Terminal adaptors 5, 6, 7 inform point-R information to a controller in advance and stores the information therein. Upon the receipt of an incoming calling to an ISDN channel 2, the terminal adaptor 5 detects point-R information relating to a point-R at a destination from call reception information and informs it to a controller 8, together with a caller number. The controller 8 compares the informed point-R information with the point-R information stored in advance and detects a matched point-R, requests a callback to other terminal adaptor, having the matched point-R and sets a communication path between the caller communication equipment and the matched point-R.
