Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the width of the door switch for a vehicle small in dimension in particular, and concurrently enhance remarkably the reliability of body grounding. SOLUTION: A bracket 5 is inserted into a switch case 1 so as to be molded. The bracket 5 is provided with a mounting hole 7 which is brought into contact with a mounting screw 27 when the bracket is fastened to a body side mounting part 28, an earth side electrode plate 8 with which a movable side electrode 22 is slid and brought into contact, and with an earthing terminal 29 projected into the recessed part of a male connector 3. The earthing terminal 29 is provided halfway between the mounting hole 7 and the earth side electrode plate 8. The body earth of a door switch for a vehicle is grounded at two places, that is, the mounting hole 7 and the earthing terminal 29.
