PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent important information on a display screen from being covered with a window even when the window is displayed on the display screen. SOLUTION: The navigator equipped with a display device which displays the important information such as a guide path and a destination mark on the map and also displays the window is provided with a means which processes at least one of the window and map on the display screen so that the important information can be seen when the important information is covered with the window. For example, the window is moved or reduced, or the map is scrolled or reduced here. Further, neither the window nor the map on the display screen is processed according to the kind of the important information and the position on the map even if they are covered.
