Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to juxtapose fins one by one at prescribed intervals automatically by a method wherein strip-shaped fins having holes for passing a pipe through are bent in corrugation and the pipe having a bore larger in size than the holes is fitted in and inserted through the holes, with the shape of the periphery of the hole changed, so that the fins are fitted closely to the pipe. SOLUTION: A corrugate fin block 3 is formed by bending strip-shaped fins wherein holes for passing a pipe through are made, by using a roll forming machine or the like. Thereafter the pipe 2 having a bore larger in size than the holes is fitted in and inserted through the holes of the corrugate fin black 3 and then the pipe 2 is bent so that a heat exchanger main body 1 be formed. On the occasion when this heat exchanger main body is used for a heat exchanger of a refrigerator, for instance, washing of the inside of the pipe, or the like, is dispensed with, since a pipe reaming operation for lessening the thermal resistance of contact between the fins and the pipe is unnecessary. By adopting closeness of the corrugate fin blocks selectively, the range of use of heat exchangers can be expanded. |
