Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously producing a porous Al green compact having a high porosity and widely applicable as a filter, sound absorbing material, catalyst carrier, nucleate boiling material, adsorbent, heat exchanger, etc., from the powder of Al or its alloy. SOLUTION: A raw powder 1 is obtained by mixing an aluminum powder and an aluminum alloy powder. The aluminum alloy powder contains a eutectoid component forming a eutectic composition having a lower m.p. than aluminum by the reaction with aluminum. This raw powder 1 is compacted at >=60g/cm , kept at 600-660 deg.C for at least 1min in a nonoxidizing atmosphere, heated and sintered.
