PORTABLE IMAGE READER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the image edit job, to easily mount the reader on an original, and to reduce the time in the image read job by visually observing an original image over a wide range on the reader and displaying the read image. SOLUTION: A confirmation window 2 opposed to almost an entire face of a read window 13 is formed to an upper face, and a transparent liquid crystal display panel 3 on which an image stored in an image storage section is displayed, a transparent touch panel 3a receiving designation in an image edit area are arranged to the entire face of the confirmation window 2. An original image opposed to a lower face of the reader is directly seen through the liquid crystal display panel 3, the touch switch 3a and the read window 3 from the upper face of the reader.
