Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of motor devices used for a power seat and enhance their mounting latitude in a smaller space. SOLUTION: In an electric lumbar-support system used for a vehicular seat, a lumbar-support mechanism and motor devices 4A and 4B are connected by means of cables 5A and 5B, and letting off or leading in the cables 5A and 5B by the motor devices 4A and 4B drives the lumbar-support mechanism. The motor devices 4A and 4B are respectively provided with rotary shafts 24 which are substantially perpendicular to their output shafts and connected thereto through motor reduction parts for driving, and with pulleys 20 for winding the cables 5A and 5B up or off of which axial centers are the rotary shafts 24. When the motor devices are driven, the driving force is converted into the rotation of the pulleys 20 which in turn let off or lead in the cables 5A and 5B. |
