Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of density difference between regions due to difference of output characteristics of recording heads to perform the recording having uniform density in this device wherein the recording is performed by utilizing plural heads adapted to the respective recording regions. SOLUTION: When recording is performed by utilizing two heads wherein an output density of recording head 4B is greater than that of recording head 4A with respect to the same input signal, input signal values (255, 192, 128, 64) of the recording head 48 are corrected so as to be equal to the output density of recording head 4A. Then, the recording is executed by the corrected input signal values (176, 148, 102, 54).
