PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display information desired by the user in one operation by registering a prescribed character string in received information as an identification code to identify a type of the information content and applying prescribed processing in response to the identification code to the received information. SOLUTION: The receiver 2 uses a radio wave of a teletext multiplex broadcast or the like and receives and displays information sent from an external transmitter 3. Then a reception means 50 receives sent information. A display means 51 displays the received information. An identification code registration means 52 registers a prescribed character string in the received information as an identification code to identify the type of the information content. Furthermore, an information processing means 53 applies prescribed processing in response to the identification code to the received information when the character string is in existence in the received information. Thus, the program type is specified and as a result, the desired program is simply displayed. Moreover, the processing in response to the program type is conducted and served.
