Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cylindrical alkaline battery by which a defective generating rate of the battery can be reduced and discharge performance can be improved by reliably blocking up an opening bottom part of a separator by a small quantity of hot melt resin. SOLUTION: A positive electrode mix 2 is inserted into a bottomed cylindrical battery can 1, and a cylindrical separator 3 is inserted into the positive electrode mix 2. Next, after a prescribed quantity of hot melt resin 4 is injected into a bottom part central part of the battery can 1, this hot melt resin 4 is rolled and solidified by a molding tool G, and an opening bottom part 11 of the separator 3 is blocked up. When the hot melt resin 4 is rolled by the molding tool G, the opening bottom part 11 of the separator 3 is reliably blocked up, and since a positive electrode and a negative electrode are reliably isolated from each other, an internal short circuit accident of a battery is sharply reduced. Since an injection quantity of the hot melt resin 4 can be reduced more than a conventional product, the reaction area of the positive electrode and the negative electrode is increased, and discharge performance is improved. |
