Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high speed page reading by reducing the waste of the use of the memory of a DRAM. SOLUTION: An image inputting part 11 converts a character on a slip into an electric image signal, and an A/D converting and level correcting part 12 converts it into a digital signal, and normalizes it. A line memory controlling part 13 alternately writes the image data of lines in line memories 14-1 and 14-2, and simultaneously reads the image data of the two lines. An image memory controlling part 16 controls terminals RAS, WE, OE, UCAS, and LCAS of an image memory 15 constituted of address counters 17X, 17Y and a DRAM so that the first and second lines can be written in an upper column area, and the third and fourth lines can be written in a lower column area. A data converting part 20 outputs data from the memory 14-1 to terminals D15-D12 and D7-D4, and outputs data from the memory 14-2 to terminals D11-D8 and D3-D0. A recognition controlling part 18 reads image data from the memory 15, and operates character recognition. |
