FUEL CELL POWER GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the sticking of scale to the cooling water blow-down pipe of a steam separator by providing a blow-down water cooler cooling the blow-down water to the prescribed temperature or below with make-up water on the blow-down pipe. SOLUTION: A blow-down water cooler 16 cooling the blow-down water with the make-up water fed from a recovered water processing system 12 to a steam separator 7 is provided on the upstream side of the needle valve 10 of a blow-down water pipe 11. The blow-down water of about 170 deg.C discharged from the bottom section of the steam separator 7 is heat-exchanged with the make-up water fed at about 50 deg.C and cooled to 100 deg.C or below in the blow-down water cooler 16, and it is discharged to the outside from the needle valve 10. The blow-down water is not evaporated instantaneously, no impurity is generated, and the blow-down pipe is not required to be periodically disassembled and cleaned or replaced with a new one.
