Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sufficient luminance without covering a discharge electrode by forming plural projecting parts in a top part of a partitioning wall at a central position between each cathode electrode provided along the direction crossing the partitioning wall. SOLUTION: Since a top part 60 of a partitioning wall to be provided with projecting parts 69 is coated with a large quantity of the phosphor paste 70, which is discharged from a mask 72 and transferred to an upper part of a partitioning wall side surface 54, the side surfaces 54 and a surface of a dielectric layer 48 can be sufficiently coated, and while since a position just under a cathode electrode separated from the projecting part 69 at a longest distance is coated with a small quantity of the paste 70, even in the case where the side surfaces 54 and a surface of the dielectric layer 48 is coated, an anode electrode 50a formed higher than the dielectric layer 48 is not coated, and the anode electrode 50a is exposed. Namely, the projecting part 69 generates the effect for securing the paste 70 at a quantity for sufficiently coating the anode electrode 50a. Consequently, thickness of a phosphor layer 56 can be increased as much as possible without coating an anode electrode master line 50, and the phosphor layer 56 is formed in the side surfaces 54 so as to obtain the sufficient luminance of PDP. |
