SEPARATION OF WIRE HEALD AND SEPARATOR FOR WIRE HEALD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a separator for healds designed to surely separate the wire heald at the extremely front end from a wire heald group and a method for separating the wire heald. SOLUTION: This method for separating a wire heald comprises separating the optional wire heald B from many wire healds B, hung from a horizontally extending guide rail 9 and installed side by side in the horizontal direction. In this case, the wire heald B at the extreme front end is taken out upward to shift a ring part 7 of the wire heald B at the extreme front end upward relatively to the ring part 7 of the wire heald B in the next position and a pushing member 10A is then moved from the outside in the horizontal direction toward the exposed ring part 7 on the upper side at the extreme front end in a stationery state of the wire heald B in the next position. The ring part 7 on the upper side at the extreme front end is then advanced while being engaged with the tip of the pushing member 10A. Thereby, the ring part 7 on the upper side at the extreme front end is pulled apart from the ring part on the upper side in the next position.
