Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize and dispose of harmful substances in incineration ash discharged from a wet type ash cooling apparatus without causing practical problems such as the turbidity of equipment water in the water tank of the apparatus and the generation of scum. SOLUTION: As for incineration ash (a) discharged from the water tank 1 of a wet type ash cooling apparatus, large refuse contained in the ash (a) is removed by a large refuse removing net 15 and diffused by being passed through diffusion plates 6 which are supported on a frame 11 by springs 12 and vibrated by a vibrator 13, and a harmful substance treatment material is ejected or dropped from chemical mixing nozzles 7 to be mixed with the incineration ash (a) which is passing through the plates 6 while being diffused.
