Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve deddendum strength of a grinding wheel by forming a groove to escape from a top of a dress gear on a bottom part and integrally burying a synthetic resin made reinforcing material in the groove. SOLUTION: A reinforcing material S buried in a groove 3 of a bottom part 2 of a grinding wheel 1 is made of a synthetic resin, comparatively soft in comparison with a grindstone material and small in cutting resistance. Consequently, no large working load is applied on a top (e) of a dress gear D. Accordingly, it is possible to avoid an inconvenience that diamond abrasive grains on the top (e) due to the large working load. Furthermore, deddendum strength of the grinding wheel 1 is efficiently improved by the reinforcing material S. consequently, it is effective for prevention of deformation of each tooth 1t of the grinding wheel 1, it is possible to maintain a mutual space L' of the adjacent tooth 1t of the grinding wheel 1 and a distance L between a bottom of the groove 3 and the addendum constant, and it is possible to stabilize quality precision of a finished product (gear).
