REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system which consists of a remote control device that, even it is a single device, can operate multiple number of devices to be controlled and a device to be controlled by this remote control device. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a device to be controlled 1 which executes an infrared ray mutual communication and a remote control device 11, and the device to be controlled 1 transmits display information indicating operational contents and executes an operation on the basis of operation information returned from the remote control device 11. On the other hand, the remote control device 11 receives and displays display information transmitted by the device to be controlled 1 and returns to the device to be controlled 1 the operation information indicating a user's instruction contents added to the display information.
