LIST DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make freely settable and changeable the arrangement order of items, by registering the items and their ranking value on a list table in accordance with instruction. SOLUTION: A list register part sorts again the items of each list item area of a list table 11 in the order of their ranking value and shows these sorted items on a display 5. When a user selects the addition of new data or the change of the registered data, the user receives an additional item and its ranking value or the changed data from an input device 3 and tentatively entries the added item or the changed data on the table 11 that is shown on the display 5. When a definite instruction is received from the device 3, the user formally entries the tentatively added item or changed data on the table 11 included in a storage 7. A list display part 15 extracts the items of a menu from the table 11 if the display of the menu is requested and then sorts these items in the order or their ranking value. If the display is requested for a fruit pull- down menu, for example, the relevant items are sorted and a pull-down menu 17 is displayed.
