SOLUTION: This compsn. essentially comprises an epoxy resin, a curative comprising a compd. having at least one phenolic hydroxyl group in the molecule and/or an amine compd., and a tri-substd. sulfonium org. acid salt. The org. acid ion, i.e., the counter anion, of the salt is one formed by removing at least one proton from at least one org. acid selected from among carboxylic acids, phenols, phenolic resins, carbon acids, and compds. each having at least one structure of the formula (wherein R is H, OH, or a monovalent org. group).
