POWDERY COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powdery cosmetic that has high stability with reduced smell change and good usability by formulating a specific component to a system containing sodium chloride. SOLUTION: This powdery cosmetic is prepared by mixing sodium chloride (suitably in an amount of 10-95 wt.%), liquid oil and/or flavor (0.1-30 wt.% of liquid oil and 0.001-5 wt.% of flavor), sesame oil (0.01-1 wt.%), and chelate agent (0.01-1 wt.%). The liquid oil is, for example, suitably silicone oil. The chelating agent is, for example, edetic acid and its salt. In addition to these essential components, a hydrophilic powder is added to reduce the direct contact between sodium chloride, the liquid oil and/or the flavor thereby more suppressing smell change with the lapse of time.
