MOBILE RADIO BASE STATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the call loss and to improve both the performance and reliability of the system by securing free movement of a radio base station by mounting it on a vehicle, etc., thereby performing the traffic or area interpolation within a radio zone. SOLUTION: A mobile radio base station MBS moves in a radio zone of a fixed mobile radio base station FBS which is turned into an overlay. Communication is performed between both stations MBS and FBS by means of a part of a radio channel that is used between the station FBS and an exchange station MSC. When the station MBS moves to the zone of another station FBS, the position registration or hand-over processing is carried out. An operator monitors the traffic which moves in the radio zone of the station FBS in terms of time and place and instructs the station MBS to move to a place where the traffic is short.
