Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the suction opening body of an electric vacuum cleaner which poses no danger that fingers are caught in by rockingly moving a movable brush unit to and fro. SOLUTION: This suction opening body of an electric vacuum cleaner is provided with a suction opening main body in which a suction inflow duct 7 to introduce into a cleaner main body a flow of suction air sucked from an air suction opening 2 formed on the bottom surface is provided inside and also with a freely-rockable movable brush unit 5 which is arranged on the lower surface of the suction opening main body across the air suction opening 2 and provided with a movable brush body at the lower end. A turbine chamber communicating with the outside via an air intake hole formed on the upper surface of the suction opening main body is partitioned and formed at the upper part of the suction opening main body. A turbine rotated by a flow of suction air from the air intake hole is rotation-freely provided in the turbine chamber. An eccentric ring 6e is fixed to the rotating shaft of the turbine. The rotation of the eccentric ring 6e is transmitted to the movable brush unit 5 via a rocking rod to rockingly move the movable brush unit 5. |
