GRILL HEIGHT INSPECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly compute a space between an aperture grill and a panel inner surface and the curvature radius thereof in response to two kinds or more CRT by providing a XY table for moving one gauge head on the basis of the program control, and providing a computing means for recording the measured date for computing. SOLUTION: A panel as a member to be measured 57 is set on a panel loading base 56. The panel loading base 56 can be changed in response to size of the panel. A probe 53 is moved to a XY position for measurement by an XY table 51, and a Z table 52 is vertically moved, and a distance from the XY table 51 is measured by the probe 53. After concluding a series of measurement, a space between an aperture grill and a panel inner surface and curvature radius thereof are computed on the basis of all the XYZ data by a computing part 54. These results of computing are displayed at need in a screen of a display 55. With this structure, a necessity of considering error of a jig is eliminated, and reliability of the data is improved.
