DEVICE FOR INSTALLING PASSENGER CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for installing a passenger conveyor, which has the simple structure so as to lower the cost and which can cope with the work for installing various passenger conveyors having a different width dimension of a main body frame. SOLUTION: An installing device 10 having a support 12, which is stood on a floor surface 1a near a getting on/off part of a passenger conveyor and which can be fallen, a telescopic support holding part 13 for supporting the support 12, and two jacks 14 for hoisting an end 4 of a frame 3 through a chain 28 is provided in an upstairs, and an installing device having the same structure is provided in a downstairs. The support 12 is inclined by the telescopic movement of the support holding part 13 so as to move the jack 14 in the longitudinal direction of the frame 3, and while the two jacks 14 are slid for positioning along a beam part 20 of the support 12, and thereafter, the end 4 of the frame 3 is hoisted in the vertical direction by the jack 14, and the other installing device is similarly operated so as to hoist the frame 3 together.
