Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor in which a magnetic field formed by a field magnet can be efficiently applied to an armature coil, cogging can be suppressed, 1 dusts can be prevented, from adhering to its stator, and magnetic influences can be suppressed upon an external object and from an external source. SOLUTION: A rod-shaped stator 1 which has field magnets, and a mover 2 which is put on the stator 1 and has an armature coil, are placed at the central part of the inside of an approximately cylindrical yoke 31 made of ferromagnetic material. An attaching member 5 with which a driving object outside the yoke is attached to the mover 2 and window 311, through which the supporting member 221 of the attaching member 5 are provided on the yoke 31.
