SOLUTION: In a power supply circuit for selectively supplying a high voltage (Vcc) or a low voltage (E) to a motor 12 that can be operated with high and low voltages, a high voltage (Vcc) is supplied only when the motor 12 is operated with a high voltage when the arrival of a power supply voltage being supplied to the motor 12 at a low-voltage level (Vs) is detected.
