CALL ANALYTIC METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently analyze an application program(AP) and a library by recording a source code instruction corresponding to a selected call to be originated during the execution of computer program and recording selected data to be referred to by these calls. SOLUTION: In response to an instruction received from a user through an input device, an AP 30 is executed for executing a specified graphics task such as three-dimensional image generation. This AP 30 generates a call corresponding to a procedure contained in a graphics library 32. Then, that call is captured by an intercepter 34, a procedure name and a parameter list are dispatched to a recorder 36 by an instruction issued to a controller 38, and the recorder 36 records a correspondent source code statement in a source code file 40 and records selected data to be referred to by calls in a file 40.
