Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance snow melting efficiency by smoothly exhausting from a snowmelting cylinder and using exhaust heat in snow melting. SOLUTION: In a snow melting device, a snow-melting cylinder having a heating means and a drainage pump 30 forcibly draining snowmelt to the outside of a snow-melting vessel embedded in the ground are placed within the snow melting vessel. In that case, an exhaust cylinder 27 is joined to the snow melting cylinder and is communicated to a vessel-side flue 19a provided on the interior wall of one side of the snow melting vessel, and the vessel side flue 19a is communicated via a movable duct 9 to a lid-side flue 19b provided in the lid 17 of the snow melting vessel.
