Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material radiation-curable on substrates such as metal, leather and wood by mixing a water-dispersible polymer and a water- soluble compound each of which is radiation-curable and having α,β-ethylenic unsaturations with water in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: 5.0-90.0 wt.% water-dispersible polymer being radiation- polymerizable and having at least one α,β-ethylenic unsaturation (e.g. ester of an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid with a hydroxyl- containing polycondensate) is mixed with 0.1-90 wt.% compound (e.g. aliphatic epoxide acrylate) being radiation-polymerizable, having at least one α,β-ethylenic unsaturtion and being water-soluble or capable of being diluted with at least 10 wt.%, based on the total weight of the material, water, at most 20 wt.% arbitrary photoinitiator, at most 60 wt.% filler, at most 20 wt.% additive and water. Thus, a high-solid-content coating material which requires no physical drying after application can be obtained. |
