Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition which forms a catalyst having high activity of equilibrating and/or condensing an organosilicon compound simply in a manner in which the formation of free hydrogen chloride is small and controlled by mixing an oxygenous phosphazene with a tertiary alcohol at a specified temperature under a specified pressure. SOLUTION: An oxygenous phosphazene is mixed with a tertiary alcohol at a temperature of 0-70 deg.C, desirably 0-20 deg.C under atmospheric pressure i.e. 900-1,100 hPa to form a composition. It is desirable that the temperature is kept 40 deg.C or below by removing the heat of reaction by a suitable cooling means. It is desirable that the reaction is carried out in an atmosphere substantially free from oxygen and water. The oxygenous phosphazene is one represented by the formula (wherein Y is chlorine or hydroxyl; and n is 0-8, desirably 1-3) or a condensate thereof. The tertiary alcohol is exemplified by tertiary butanol or dimethylpropanol. It is desirable that 1-300 ppm of this composition is used as the catalyst for equilibrating and condensing an organosilicon compound. |
