GARBAGE DISPOSER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a sufficient amount of oxygen to an aerobic fermentation bacterium and thereby, activate a primary fermentation smoothly by providing air feeders for feeding an air to crushed garbage in a fermentation treating tank, at the bottom and one of the peripheral sides of the fermentation treating tank. SOLUTION: A stirring cylinder 8 is provided in a fermentation treating tank 2 and a stirring screw conveyor 10 is installed in the stirring cylinder 8. In addition, the upper end of the screw conveyor 10 is introduced through the upper opening of the stirring cylinder 8 to be supported by a bearing 13 on a supporting arm 11. Further, the lower end of the screw conveyor 10 is introduced through the lower opening of the stirring cylinder 8 to find its way through the bottom part of the fermentation treating tank 2. Further, air feed holes 15a, 15b as air feeders for feeding an air to crushed garbage in the fermentation treating tank 2 are arranged at the bottom part and on one of the peripheral sides of the fermentation treating tank 2 respectively. Thus it is possible to feed a sufficient amount of oxygen to an aerobic fermentation bacterium and thereby, activate a primary fermentation smoothly.
