LIGHT INTAKE TYPE FINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the visibility of display in a finder and to make an exter nally attached flashing device attachable to the camera in the vicinity of a bright-frame finder by turning on a lighting device at the time of attaching the externally attached flashing device. SOLUTION: A light intake window 20 used also as a light diffusion plate is provided on the top surface of the upper cover 1a of a camera body 1b and natural light passes through the light intake window 20, to enter into the camera body 1b and through a display board 22 for displaying photographing information in the finder, to be reflected to the reflector 24a of a prism 24 being in a light guide 23. As the lighting device for the display board 22, an LED 21 in the finder is provided. Then a control circuit controls a photographing device to execute normal photographing control and detects the fact that the externally attached flashing device in installed by a contact (switch SW) to turn on and turn off the LED 21 is the finder. Further the signal of the switch linked with a release switch 2 and a timer are used to turn on and turn off the LED 21 in the finder.
