VEHICULAR AIR BAG DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air bag device which is capable of providing uniformity to the pressure fluid blown out from an inflator by balancing the blowout of the pressure fluid for dynamic pressure with the blowout of the pressure fluid for static pressure. SOLUTION: An inflator 15, on one end of which a blowout part 15a for blowing off the pressure fluid is formed, is covered with a diffusor 16 in nearly closed manner, and juxtaposed to the diffusor about on one straight line along the axial direction of the diffusor. Blowoff-openings 16d to 16d are formed on the diffusor 16 so that the opening-area of these openings is narrowed as the openings are as far away from the blowout part 15a of the inflator 15. Further, the blowout opening part 16d situated on the side of the blowout part 15a, is overlapped with a part of the blowout part 15a, and thus with the overlapping arrangement, a part of the pressure fluid blown off radially is directly blown out from the blowout opening part 16d.
