Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulating fluidized bed system having the structure simpler compared with conventional systems and eliminating the necessity of gas for transferring solids and having the advantage of easiness of keeping the pressure balance for circulating the solids smoothly, which is suitable for circulating, for example, powdery-granular solids used as a catalyst or a heating medium. SOLUTION: A circulating fluidized bed system is constituted of a downward flow type movable bed element 1 to which solids are fed, a first dense fluidized bed element 2 connected with the lower section of the element, a second dense fluidized bed element 3 having its introduction inlet introducing solids from the first dense fluidized bed element 2 and connected with the low pressure side of the in-device internal pressure distribution through the first flow rate adjusting element 21 and an upward flow type movable bed element 4 positioned above the element as main sections connected with one another, and the solid density in the first dense fluidized bed element 2 is set higher than the solid density in the upward flow type movable bed element 4 by 0.4-0.8 g/cm .
