Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false tooth deodorizing device which can effectively deodorize a false tooth and a method of deodorizing a false tooth using this device. SOLUTION: This false tooth deodorizing device is provided with a treating vessel 10 in which an artificial teeth 1 to be treated is bathed in the water 2, and an ultraviolet lamp 20 which irradiates ultraviolet ray to the artificial teeth 1 in the treating vessel 10. It is preferred that the ultraviolet lamp 20 is a cold cathode-tube low-pressure mercury lamp. The false tooth deodorizing method is that the false tooth 1 to be treated is bathed in the water 2 in the treating vessel 10, the ultraviolet lamp 20 irradiates an ultraviolet ray to the false tooth 1 as well as a foaming detergent is added in the water 2 in the treating vessel 10 to make foam, and at least during the foaming period of the foaming detergent, the false tooth 1 are irradiated with an ultraviolet ray.
