DISK RESTORING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a device to secure reproduction of at least one part by rewriting a link pointer in a first or second parts table to a pointer without a link in a parts table series, when plural same parts tables having the parts table number of the link pointer exist in parts tables connected in serial by the link pointer. SOLUTION: When a link pointer to be E3 in a parts table of (2B) becomes 18 due to some cause and a link pointer 18 exists in parts tables of (03) and (2B), link pointers 18, 1F, 2B constitute a loop and there is the possibility that a track corresponding to this parts table series cannot be reproduced. At this time, a link pointer in the succeeding parts table of (2B) is rewritten to 00. Thereby, a segment corresponding to a parts table of (E3) cannot be reproduced, but segments corresponding to parts tables from (03) to (2B) can be reproduced.
