Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the flight distance of a ball and improve its directivity by burying and fixing the first and second weight bodies having the specific gravity larger than that of a head main body at the heel section of the head main body and at the portion of a toe section near a sole section respectively. SOLUTION: The first and second weight bodies 11, 12 having the specific gravity larger than that of a head main body 9 are buried and fixed at the heel section 5 of the head main body 9 of a club head 1 and at the portion of a toe section 6 near a sole section 8 respectively, and they are arranged at positions kept in no contact with a face section 2. The first weight body 11 is inserted into a fitting hole 14 communicated with a shaft insertion hole 13 formed at a neck section 4 and concentrical with the shaft insertion hole 13, and it is fixed to the head main body 9. The second weight body 12 is inserted into a fitting hole 15 formed at the portion of the toe section 6 nearer to the sole section 8 than a blade section 7, and it is fixed to the head main body 9. The weight body 12 is arranged along the corner section where the lower face 8a of the sole section 8 and the tip face 6a of the toe section 6 cross each other in the curved state. |
