A pair of switching elements 11.12 connected in forward series to both ends of the direct current power supply 40. Free wheel diodes 21.22 connected in reverse parallel with each of the switching elements 11.12 are provided. A control circuit 19 to make each of the switching elements 11.12 conduct alternately is provided. A fluorescent lighting circuit 71.72.73 connected to the both ends of the switching element 12 through a capacitor 30 is provided. A charge pulling-out circuit 82.83 to forcedly pull out a charge when it is turned off is provided only at one optional switching element 12.
