Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably obtain the smooth end face of an optical fiber by making the cross sectional area at the time of cutting a joined part integrally joining a heater block and a mirror finished surface plate by a plane parallel with the mirror finished surface plate smaller than the area of the mirror finished surface plate in a plane including a mirror face. SOLUTION: The cross sectional area at the time of cutting a joined part 4 integrally joining a heater block 2 and a mirror finished surface plate 3 by a plane parallel with the mirror finished surface plate is made smaller than the area of the mirror finished surface plate 3 in a plane including a mirror face. Namely, the smaller the cross sectional area is, at the time of cutting a joined part 4 and the longer the length between the joined part 4 and a part being in contact with the mirror finished surface plate 3 is, the lower the heat transfer efficiency is decreased.
