Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb elongation with the moisture absorption of a flooring material by forming a notched section at the lower end section of a plinth body mounted at the corner section of a floor and a wall and fitting a cushioning material. SOLUTION: A notched section 2 is formed to a front section at the lower end of a plinth body 1, and a cushioning material 5 formed of a synthetic resin, a foamed synthetic resin, a rubber, a foamed rubber, etc., is set up to the notched section 2 with adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, etc. A wall surface is executed, the plinth body 1 is installed at a corner section with a floor panel or a slab, and the butt end section of a flooring material 7 is abutted and laid to the cushioning material 5 through the inserting space 6 of the notched section 2 of the plinth body 1. Accordingly, when elongation is generated by moisture absorption in the flooring material 7, elongation is absorbed to the cushioning material 7 without inhibiting elongation because the cushioning material 7 is compressed by the flooring material 7, no warpage and push-up is generated in the flooring material 7, and the thrusting section of the flooring material 7 is concealed and appearance is improved.
