Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a quaternary ammonium salt dispersion at a high concentration, excellent in usability due to its improved fluidity in spite of the quaternary ammonium salt contained at a high concentration by suppressing a rise in viscosity caused by compounding the quaternary ammonium salt at the high concentration and utilizable as a concentrated type product which is a product such as a hair care product, e.g. especially a hair rinse agent or a hair treatment or a textile treating agent, e.g. a softening agent and to provide a method for preparing the dispersion. SOLUTION: This quaternary ammonium salt dispersion at a high concentration is prepared by compounding a sugar alcohol as a viscosity reducing agent in an amount of 0.5-20 wt.% based on the whole dispersion in the quaternary ammonium salt dispersion at the high concentration containing endoplasmic reticula in which an oily substance is sealed in a bimolecular membrane structure of the quaternary ammonium salt in an aqueous liquid at 5-60 wt.% quaternary ammonium salt concentration.
