Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily repair a canvas peeled part. SOLUTION: In a movable handrail for a passenger conveyor in which several layers of canvases are adhered and fixed to a back side of a decorative rubber, and the section is of C-shape, when a part of the canvas layer is peeled, the movable handrail is turned over (S2) so that the canvas peeled part is on the upper side, and the adhesive which is melted at the prescribed temperature is filled (S4) in the canvas peeled part so as to be as high as the canvas layer. The canvas peeled part can be repaired in a short time, and the down-time of a passenger conveyor associated with the repair work can be reduced.
