COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the development of an application required for a plurality of communication protocols, without changing a basic configuration part for conducting client-server communication. SOLUTION: A distribution processing system 100 is provided with a server 101 that makes communication through a 1st communication link 99 having a 1st communication protocol (SS7), consisting of pluralities of protocol layers and terminates only a lower-order layer of the 1st communication protocol, a 2nd communication link 102 having a 2nd communication protocol which is different from the 1st communication protocol and connecting to the server 101, and at least one client 103 that executes an application for communication using the 1st communication protocol, terminating only a host layer of the 1st communication protocol and connecting to the 2nd communication link 102. The server 101 and the client 103 use the 2nd communication protocol for communicating information according to the 1st communication protocol through the 2nd communication link 102.
