FOLDABLE PERCUSSION SYNTHESIZER UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate portage and to reduce the space for storage. SOLUTION: A foldable electronic percussion synthesizer assembly is equipped with two fixed drum heads 11 and 12 which are permanently provided for a synthesizer housing 10 and two movable drum heads 13 and 14 which are installed on a movable support arm. The support arm allows the movable drum heads to rotate on their axes between the folding positions where the hit surfaces 80 face the hit surfaces 80 of the fixed drum heads in parallel and the opening positions where the hit surfaces of the fixed heads and movable heads are substantially on the same plane and separate from each other. Further, a vibration cutoff means is included which reduces interference between the drum heads. A latch member is installed axially rotatably on the vibration cutoff means on the movable drum heads so as to support the movable heads at the opening positions and also fix the movable heads onto the fixed drum heads at the folding positions.
