PROTECTION PLATE FOR DISPLAY AND ILLUMINATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protection plate capable of reducing ultraviolet rays in a simple system and rich in an illumination function at the time of lighting by providing a transmission type light storing member absorbing a part of the ultraviolet rays generated from a display and converting it into visible light on the inner surface of the protection plate. SOLUTION: This protection plate 1 is constituted to be attached to the display 4 of a personal computer, etc., by a flexible supporting plate connected to a frame part. The plate 1 faces to the screen of the display 4 and is incorporated with the transmission type light storing member 6 inside a transparent plate 5. In such a case, the member 6 absorbs a part of the ultraviolet rays generated from the screen and converts it into the visible light. The member 6 is constituted of green, blue and red luminous paint, and stores the light when it is exposed under sunlight or a fluorescent lamp in the daytime. Then, it emits light by itself even when the external light does not exist.
