EQUIPMENT FOR EXECUTION OF WORK FOR MONOLITHIC REFRACTORY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct automatic execution of work for pouring monolithic refractory into various forms by a method wherein the refractory is charged in a kneader by a metallic container and kneaded and then a traveling truck whereon a hopper receiving the refractory is mounted is made to travel. SOLUTION: Water for working is added, together with a curing agent, if necessary, to monolithic refractory charged in a kneading device 6 and these are kneaded into slurry. The refractory made slurry is discharged from the bottom of the kneading device 6 and put in a pouring hopper 11. The pouring hopper 11 is made movable on a pouring truck 13 which travels on traveling rails 12. After the poring truck 13 is made to advance to the positions of each sort of lance 16, a tundish 17, a hot metal ladle 18 and a molten steel ladle 19, for instance, a discharge port provided in the bottom of the pouring hopper 11 is opened and the monolithic refractory made slurry is poured into a space between the shell and the core of each sort of object of pouring. According to this constitution, a series of operations can be executed automatically.
