Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make liner-less and increase the slidability of cylinder bore. SOLUTION: A base metal is made of an aluminum-silicon alloy containing a silicon of more than eutectic composition. Also the inside wall surface of a cylinder bore 2 is formed with silicon enriched layer S having a primary crystal silicon higher in density than that contained in the base metal by the coagulation of the primary crystal silicon in the base metal. To form the silicon enriched layer S, a cylindrical filtrating material F surrounding a core for cylinder bore is used, and molten metal is filtrated by pressurization so as to coagulate the primary crystal silicon around the filtrating material F.
