LAMINATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laminate having excellent dielectric characteristics, moisture resistance, heat resistance, durability and adhesive properties by forming an adhesive layer of norbornene resin having a polar group on at least one surface of a dielectric layer of thermoplastic norbornene resin, and forming a conductive layer thereon. SOLUTION: A dielectric layer formed of thermoplastic norbornene resin is normally used as a film or prepreg, and an adhesive layer is formed at least on one surface of the dielectric layer. The adhesive layer uses thermoplastic norbornene resin containing a polar group, normally has the polar group at a side chain. In this case, as preferable polar group, a substituent having one type of hetero atom or atomic group made of the hetero atom. As the conductive layer, metal material having high conductivity, small temperature dependency, no migration, durability against a heat cycle and solderability in the case of a surface of an outermost layer such as Ag, Au, Cu, Ni, Al or W is used.
